He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Burns and Beatrice Burns; his wife Josephine; his son Charles "Yaz"; and his brother William.
He is survived by: his children, Jo Ann Firstiun (Carl), Mary Ann Leonardo, Debbie Marks (Joe), Joseph Burns (Teri) and Linda Thron; his daughter-in-law Cindy Burns; and his sisters, Barbara Ann Veino and Helen Burns. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Patrick's Church, 21 Main Street, Ravena, NY 12143 will be appreciated.
