She is survived by: her mother Caroline Mulford Owens; her husband Frank Plattner; her children, Anna Plattner (Justin Wexler), Marina Plattner and Matthew Plattner; her grandchildren, Corinna and Frank Wexler; her siblings, Elizabeth Owens Wakefield (Bill) and Jonathan Owens (Jill); her sister-in-law Christina Evola; and her nieces and nephews, Julia Evola, Madeleine, Billy Wakefield, Kirsten and James Owens.
She served as the President of the club from 2018 to 2022, leading the club through the challenging pandemic.
