It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie F. Bates of Greenville, New York, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Cook and Vera Faulkner Cook; and her siblings, Barbara Wood and Milton Cook. She is survived by: her son-in-law Gary Wood; her nieces and nephews, Gordon Wood, Timothy Wood, Milton Cook, Doreen Pricolo and Tina Wood; her siblings-in-law, Steven Wood and Irene Cook; her husband Phillip Bates; and her daughter Deborah Bates Hulbert.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bonnie's name to the Tri-Village Fire Company PO Box 575 Preston Hollow, NY 12469 and the Schoharie Animal Shelter 304 Howes Cave Rd, Howes Cave, NY 12092, organizations that reflected her compassionate spirit.
