He is survived by: his parents, Addnetta Walker Hurst of Greenport and Willie Mack Hurst of Georgia; and his siblings, Mack Strickland, Jonathan Strickland, Ray Strickland, Kenneth Strickland, Hurst Strickland, Stephen Strickland, Tresa Hurst, Bryan Hurst and Dorothy Hurst.
