It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Vining Jr. (Greenport, New York), born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victoria Vining (Iaccino) and James A. Vining Sr. (Teena); his children, James A. Vining III (Rose), Teena Vining-Graf (Thomas) and Anthony Vining Sr. (Melanie); his grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Gregory, Meagan, Natalie, Anthony Vining Jr., Kaitlyn Fein, Joseph, Emma Downey and Nicole Downey Rosario; and his brothers, Robert (Kathy) and Ed Vining (Donna). He was also cherished by seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's name may be made to Community Hospice of Columbia-Greene, or Hudson Fire Department Central Station.
