She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Platner and Ruth Platner (Henry); her husband John Cordato; and her cousins, Hazel Szafron, Doris Moore and Anna Barone.
She is survived by: her son John Cordato; her sister Janice Nelson; her grandchildren, Kari and Casey Codato; her great grandchildren, Heaven Mackey, Devin, Jaykwon, Jaheim and Demetries; and her niece Linda Novak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
