She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hawkins and May Hawkins (Smith); her husband James Murtlow; her daughter Laurie Lloyd; her grandson Jason Tucker; and her siblings, Ella May Ericson and Lester Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Tyler, Bill Lloyd, Neal Tyler, Amy Pechette and Bruce Tyler; her sister Joyce Porter; her close friend Vivian Richards; and her grandchildren, Jeannie, Billy, Steven, Erik, Ginger, Julian, Brandy, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Christian. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
