He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg"; his children, Michael (Dawn), Elizabeth "Betsy" Burgess (Colin) and Mary Jane "Janie" Fitzgerald (Dan); his grandsons, Matthew Oderkirk, Allan Burgess and Jack Burgess; his great grandchildren, Noah Oderkirk and Georgia Marie Burgess; his brother Ilarion Marr (Margaret); his nieces, Ketevan Marr and Sophia Mushinski (Matthias); and his nephew Nicholas Marr (Bonnie).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to First Congregational Church UCC of Greene.
