He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Oliver and Esther Merritt; his siblings, James Oliver and Grace Brooks; his brother-in-law Jon Clark; and his stepson Johnny.
He is survived by: his sisters, Cherrie Clark and Maxine Cook; and his stepsons, Marvin Heyd and Raymond Heyd. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
