He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Taylor and Mary Taylor; his sister Pat Delaney; and his brother-in-law Sandy "Joe" Fama. He is survived by: his wife Janet Taylor; his daughters, Deb Taylor (Mike Fraser) and Diane Murray (Bill); his grandchildren, Dorie, Jake Joseph, Douglas, Michelle Grant, Sarah Grant, Rob Jones and Katie Grant; his great grandchildren, Douglas, Sonora and Alexander; his sister Linda Fama; and his brother-in-law James Delaney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
