He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Cole and Leola Cole; his siblings, Walker Cole, Allen Cole, Wydell Cole, Addie-Mae Cole, Bonndie Gaymon, Victoria Reese and Leola Cole; his sons, Gregory Cole and Timothy Cole; and also Hazel Tucker.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Martin; his siblings-in-law, U. J. Jones (Annie Ruth) and Dorothy Billington; his children, Ellouise Evans (late Victor), Michael Cole (Betsy), Helen Allen (Cyrus-Predeceased), Curtis Cole and Jeffery Cole (Liz); and his grandchildren, Marya, Darius, Kristen, Sierra, Kiesha, Dominique, Labue, Gregory, Stephen, Bunnie, Connie, Kan, Trevor, Jeff Jr. Jordan, Craig and Tobot. He is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren, and a whole host of nieces and nephews.
