Santina M. LaGeorge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Santina M. LaGeorge of Greece, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sam LaGeorge; her siblings, Dominick, Sam, Joseph, Anthony, Louis Chiappone, Rose Cimino and Mary Guida; her parents, Giuseppe Chiappone and Rosina Chiappone; and her siblings, Loreto Chiappone, Giuseppina, Brigida and Jennie Chiappone.
She is survived by: her daughter Joanne; her son-in-law Anthony DiPonzio; her grandchildren, Anthony DiPonzio (Ramona) and Gina Mandurano (Brandon); her great grandchild Vincenza Lucia Mandurano; her niece Rosemary Andreano; and her great-nephew John Andreano. She is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc. (219 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Church (5000 Mt Read Blvd, Rochester, NY 14612).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory.
