As Rose departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rose may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rose leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Pelano; her granddaughter Marie Pugsley; her daughters, Rosalie Pelano of Greece, NY and Donna Pelano (Joe); and her mother Mary Amatore. She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
