He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret W. He is survived by: his children, Carol Mesolella (John) and Tom (Mary); and his grandsons, Kevin, Brian (Brittany) and Steven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice or to Wesley United Methodist church.
