As we bid Maralyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was predeceased by: her husband Arlen R Bankes. She is survived by: her children, Scott Bankes (Denise) and Susan Suraci (Douglas); her grandsons, Douglas Suraci (Alexandria) and Nicholas Suraci (Marisa); and her great grandchildren, Roen and Trae Suraci. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vay-Schleich and Meeson (1075 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
