It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph V. Barr of Greece, New York, who passed away on November 28, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph V. Barr to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Janice; his parents, John Barr and Carmella Barr; and his stepgrandchildren, Camdyn and Camryn Garbutt.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Barr (Fritz); his children, Michelle Dixon (Michael) and John Barr (Holly); his stepsons, Scott Garbutt (Jeannie), Patrick Garbutt (Christina) and Jeffrey Garbutt; his grandchildren, Joe Barr (Michelle), Samantha Barr, Rachel Dixon, Chris Dixon, Baylee Garbutt, Kaige Kirk, Leia Kirk, Gavin Garbutt, Raelyn Garbutt, Addilynn Garbutt, Oaklynn Garbutt, Keirsten Shelby and Lexi Kleptz; and his siblings, Lorraine LoVerde (late William), John Barravecchia (Lynette) and Robert Barr (Laura). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James R. Gray Funeral Home (1530 Buffalo Rd, Rochester, NY 14624). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
