He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland and Jean; and his parents-in-law, Michael, Anne Andolina and Joseph.

He is survived by: his wife Janet (Andolina); his children, Joseph (Phillip DeMarco) and Stephanie Ashbaugh (David); his pets, Annie, Max and Wesley; and his siblings, Roland (Gloria), Rory (Joanne), Steven, Paula McKelvie and Sandra Donofrio (Fred).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd, Fairport, NY 14450 or Wilmot Cancer Institute, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642 in Joe's memory.
