John Laco Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Laco of Greece, New York, born in Lackawanna, New York, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy (Ruszczyk); his parents, Louis Laco and Anna Laco; and his sister Veronica Laco. He is survived by: his children, Lori M. Laco-Schiano (Charles A. Schiano, Jr.), Michael Laco (Julia) and Pauline Emelson (Brian); his grandchildren, Matthew M. Schiano, Luke C. Schiano, Gillian A. Laco and Maeve J. Emelson; his sister-in-law Eileen Szematowicz (Bronislaus); and his nieces, Camille Rammer and Andrea Hartzell. He is also survived by several cousins, friends and wonderful neighbors.
