He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Martin Petersen and Arlene Meisner (Paska); his wife Carol; and his siblings, Dick, Curt and Sharon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sandy (Guth) and Allen; his daughters, Sherry Welch of Punta Gorda, FL and Cindy Arnold (Ed) of Hilton, NY; his grandchildren, EJ Arnold (Jeanette), Jessica Andrews (Don), Shannon (Chris Porter), Carrie, Mandy Welch, Troy Arnold (Ellen), Torrell Arnold and Tiffani Dighe (Gaurav); his great grandchildren, Jasmyn Ozug (Mike), Bethany, Elizabeth, Jarrett, Shawn Arnold, Brittany Montfort (Mike), Charlotte, Oliver Arnold and Aaryan Dighe; and his great great grandchildren, Jacob and Jack Montfort.
