He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Potter and Elsie Potter; and his siblings, Elizabeth Potter, Harry and Frank Potter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Peters (Thomas House) and Lori Potter (Brian Quinn); his siblings, Joyce Brosi, Marilyn Schmid (Ronald) and Robert Potter; his grandchildren, Kevin, Kristen and Scott; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Calista, Nicholas and Shelby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
