She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G Bayer; her son William Alan Bayer; her grandchildren, Kathryn Bayer and Michael Bayer; her brother Maurice Nieskens; and her nephew D. Edward Nieskens (Doris Lohman Kramer).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kathryn Herring and Robert Joseph Bayer (Tracy Merrill); her grandchildren, Laura Arena (Thomas Purdev), Christopher Arena (Aubrey), Robert Arena and Joseph Arena; her great grandchildren, Karena Purdev, Joseph Arena, Thomas Purdev, Jordyn Arena, Victoria Grimes and Collin Grimes; and her nieces, Sylvia Leuci and Barbara Nieskens. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
