He is survived by: his wife Bong Soon Ko; his children, Edward Ko (Mary) of Woodbury, NY, Carlos Ko of Honolulu, HI and Jung Hee Yi (Kyung Suk) of Columbia, SC; his sister Jung Soon Ko of Suwon; his grandchildren, Jessica Yi-Penfold (Cody Penfold) of Atlanta, GA, Vincent Yi of Albany, GA, Jamie Yi of Columbia, SC, Philip Ko of Woodbury, NY and John Ko of Woodbury, NY; and his great grandchild Serafina Penfold.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes (125 W Old Country Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
