It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Altman (Great Neck, New York), who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Arthur; her brother Fred; her parents, Rose and Samuel Shapiro; and her parents-in-law, Joseph and Rachel Altman.
She is survived by: her friend Mildred; her husband Hadassah Associate; her sons, Frederick of Albany, NY and Richard of Swan Lake, NY; her grandsons, Stephen, Eric, Gregory and David; her nieces and nephews, Roslyn Levinson (Donald), Karen Ashkenase (Donald), Phyllis Richland (Stewart), Renee Aronowitz (Steve), Stone Altman (Maya Smith), Steven Sucher and Michael Schwartz (Kate); her siblings-in-law, Edith and Abe Altman; her sister Sylvia; her siblings-in-law, Bob Minskoff, Midge (Esther), Jerry Sucher, Clara and Jack Schwartz; her nieces, April Fisher and Ronni Altman Cintron; and her great-nephew Harold Richland.
Final arrangements will be organized responsibly in accordance with social distancing and public health requirements as Mildred would have wanted.
