Michael Schutzel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Schutzel (Great Neck, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mandel Schutzel and Ida Lutz; and his sister Ann Schutzel Dosch. He is survived by: his children, Laura Lichtenstein (Eric Lichtenstein) and Peter Schutzel (Carol Schutzel); his grandchildren, Jacob, Isla Lichtenstein, Sadie and Margot Schutzel; and his great-nephew Mike. He is also survived by nieces, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

In lieu of flowers or fuss, please think of him often. A donation will be made in his name to the New Israel Fund and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
