He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Gassman and Sylvia Gassman; his siblings, Hortense Levy and Aunt Horty; his wife Mae; his children, Ellen Siverstein (Paul), Jonathan Gassman (Stefanie) and Scott Gassman; his grandchildren, David Gassman (Yesina), Joshua Gassman, Gidon Silverstein (Jennifer), Yael Wilson (Christian), Ari Silverstein, Samara, Talya, Noah and Zoey; and his pet Charlie. He was also cherished by many great grandchildren.
