He was predeceased by: his spouse Thelma Reisman (Kaplan); his parent-in-law Samuel Kaplan; and his sibling-in-law Bertram Kaplan. He is survived by: his parents, Isidor Reisman and Mae Reisman (Mandel); his parent-in-law Edith Kaplan; his sibling-in-law Marcia Kaplan; his children, Lawrence, Edward and David; and his grandchildren, Esther Miriam, Nesonel, Reva, Ruchama, Matti, Shayna, Shoshanna, Samuel, Michael and Daniel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jewish Family and Children Services of Northern New Jersey or to Stephen S. Wise Temple in Los Angeles.
