It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M. Zipprich of Great Kills, New York, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean M. Zipprich to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard P. Zipprich, Sr.; and her brother J. Harold Murphy. She is survived by: her brother William J. Murphy of Cape May, NJ; and her children, Bernard P. Zipprich, Jr. (Grace), Elizabeth A. Ghent (Don), Red Bank, NJ Councilman Edward J. Zipprich (JP Nicolaides) and Jean M. Kelahan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she enjoyed reading the complete series "An Irish Country Doctor" and other historical books on American history and politics.
Jean Zipprich was a volunteer with the Crossroads Foundation in Oakwood Heights and was a member of Saint Clare's parish.
