Catherine O'Handley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine O'Handley of Great Kills, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Convey and Catherine Gertrude Convey; her husband John "Jack" O'Handley; and her brother Thomas Convey. She is survived by: her brothers, Joseph Convey and Raymond Convey; her children, Tim, Michael, Eileen (Browne) and Maureen (LaPenta); and her children-in-law, Donna, Angela, Pete and Joe. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. (28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10312). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clare Church (110 Nelson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10308).
