He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice F. McLaughlin and Agnes Loretta McLaughlin (McGrath); and his siblings, Jim, Max, Mike McLaughlin, Margaret, Joyce DeRosia and Patricia Szabo.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia McLaughlin-McGarry (Chris McGarry) of Fort Worth, Texas and Thomas McLaughlin of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; and his sister Maureen Stacy (McLaughlin) of Ticonderoga. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
