He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Burch and Dora Burch; his brother Mohawk Red Slate; his children, Amanda Bates (Adam) of Poultney, VT, Jeffrey Winchell of Comstock, Jenn Rivers of Arizona and Chrissy Forrest of Salisbury, Maryland.; his fiancée Mary Ellen Burke of Granville; the mother of his children Mary Ritchie of Comstock; his siblings, Lenn Winchell (Shannon) of Whitehall, Lisa Winchell (Russell Irwin) of Hartford, Brenda Rice (George Welch) of Pittsford, VT, Tammy Davis (Robert) of Whitehall and Arleen Sawyer (Walt) of Ticonderoga; and also, Jade, Makayla and Makenzie Winchell of Hudson Falls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
