It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Albert Stanley (Granville, New York), born in Clinton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stanley and Irene Stanley (Cassels); his significant other Jean Osgood; his sister Marilyn Wood; and his close friend Myra.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy J. Olson (Carl) of Buxton, Kimberly A. Dunster (Sam) of Middle Granville, Kevin J Stanley of Fair Haven, VT and Keith E. Stanley of Middle Granville; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Dunster, Jennifer Vanderminden (Chip), Zachary Olson (Paige), Nolan Stanley, Brooke Drake (Ben), Ethan Olson (Jessica), Hannah Stanley and Erin Rathbun; his great grandchildren, Zachary Vanderminden, Riley Dunster, Emma and Lilliana Vanderminden; and his sister Judy Smith (Roger) of Greenfield Center. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those wishing to remember Jim in a special way may make a donation to the American Legion Memorial Honor Guard in which he proudly served.
