With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gail Lewis of Granville, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gail left this world on April 13, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lewis and Agnes Lewis (Sears); her siblings, Raymond, Don, Robert, Kathryn Murphy, Eleanor Layden and Agnes Lewis (Aggie); and her great grandchild Eliza Grace LaRose.
She is survived by: her sisters, Connie Williams, Dale Kordish and Elaine Riley; her children, Kathryn Keelan LaRose, Patricia Hayward (Roger), John Jack Smith (Lisa), Joseph Patrick Smith (Geri) and Raymond VanBuren (Aimee); her grandchildren, Grete Miller (Andrew), Eric Hanser, Joshua LaRose (Naomi), Ashley Anderson (Ross), Erin Hogan (Dale), Ean Smith (Andrea), Alexis Smith, Gavin VanBuren, Peyton VanBuren and Kieran Smith; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Miller, Zachary LaRose and Cameron Hogan.
A reception was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hayward's House (208 Aldous Rd, Granville, NY 12832).
