He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Bassett and Mabel Bassett (Moyer); his brothers, Arthur Moyer, Sr. and Harold Bassett; and his grandson Tyler Bassett.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Crouch); his children, April, Ernest Jr. (Crystal) and Aron (Heather); his grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah and Holton; and his siblings, Sylvia Loomis (Robert) and Gene Bassett.
Memorial contributions are welcomed in his memory to the Granville Little League for the construction of a new concession stand at the Little League, which of course will have Swedish Fish for sale.
