She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite "Peg" Carpenter (King) and Lyle Carpenter; her husband Stephen Somich of Harry's Bar; her brother Robert Carpenter; and her daughters-in-law, Diane Somich and Beth Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Rosemary Somich) of Raleigh, NC, Stephen (Irma Somich) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Thomas (Catherine Somich) of Granville, NY, Peter (Isabelle Somich) of Ocala, FL and Marguerite (Robert Corazza) of Montville, NJ.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Somich Morgan, Stephen Somich, Michael Somich, Philip Somich, Peter John Somich, Mary Beth Somich Fish, Frank Somich and Nicholas Corazza; her great grandchildren, Hannah Morgan, Abigail Morgan, Jack Morgan, Lily Somich, Isabel Fish, Maxton Somich and Noah Somich; and her brother Charles Carpenter.
Memorial donations may be made to the Slate Valley Museum in Granville, St. Mary's Church in Granville, or the Granville Rescue Squad.
