It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Savino P. Nanula of Grand Island, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Savino Nanula and Emanuella Nanula (Gianoto); his siblings, Frances Mancuso (late Carmen) and Anthony Nanula (late Violet); his son Dr. James Mezhir (Elizabeth); his granddaughter Gabriella Nanula; and his former wife Eileen Nanula.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Nanula (Calvano); his sons, Philip Nanula (Theresa), Steven Nanula (Dana), Paul Nanula (Karen), Anthony Nanula (Holly) and John Mezhir (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Gregory Nanula (Brian Kron), Vincent Nanula (JoAnna Jacob), Philip J. Nanula Jr., Michael Nanula (Felicia), Christopher Nanula (Kristen), Anthony Nanula (Katrina), Daniel Nanula (Julia), Jenna Nanula, Kerri Nanula (David Podlas), Nicole Bonito (Paul), Savino Nanula, Isabella Nanula, Alexa Nanula, Malinee Mezhir, Anjali Mezhir, Kate Mezhir and Jack Mezhir Max Mezhir; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph, Dante and Toriana Todaro; his great grandchildren, Dominic Bonito, Gemma Bonito, Giavanna Nanula, Arlo Nanula, Vera Nanula and Hayes Nanula; and his siblings, Richard J. Nanula (late Shirle) and Jeanette Cadille (late Joseph). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
