We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Francis E. Geyer of Grand Island, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Francis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Francis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank O. and Mary A. Finn; and his siblings, George Geyer and Mary Seibel. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Chapin; and his sons, William Geyer (Shelly) of Perkasie, PA, Michael Geyer of Grand Island and Travis Geyer of Allegany. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home (3128 W State St, Olean, NY 14760). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Allegany American Legion, 4350 Rte. 417, Allegany, NY 14706, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
