She was predeceased by: her husband William Ruff; and her brother Rudy Nitsche. She is survived by: her children, Janie Gerow (Robert), Joanne Shamrock (late Rolland) and Jody Markovitz; her grandchildren, Robyn, Michael, Aimee Gerow and William Shamrock; and her sisters, Doris Ellen Gore and Elizabeth Gazdik. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
