He is survived by: his son Donald Watkins, Jr. (Gregina); his stepchildren, LaTosha Bryant and Andre Bryant; his grandchildren, Donald Watkins III and Devin-Dionte Watkins; his siblings, Sandra Vincent (late Wayne), Kathy Sistrunk, Melvin Walker (Priscilla) and John Walker; and his sibling-in-law Shiela Chapman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As a young teen, he started getting donations for his church that he grew up in.
