He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burns and Ruth Burns (Scotland); and his brothers, Douglas and Thomas Burns. He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Frank, Edith and Betty Perno; his wife Maria Burns; his son Bruce M. Burns (Jacqueline); his stepgrandson John Conti; his sister Sharon Costanzo (David); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Isenhart (James) and Frank Perno (Colleen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Flowers are gratefully declined, if desired, memorials can be made to the American Lung Association or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
