He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Bender and Vera Bender of Rensselaer; his wife Betty Jean Housel; his children, Kenny, Barbara LaCorte of Santa Barbara, CA and Kenneth Bender of Delhi; his granddaughter Dr. Lindsay LaCorte Smith (Seth Smith) of Hyannis, MA; his children, Cameron and Jameson; and his grandson Max.
