It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jay Gula of Grand Gorge, New York, born in Cooperstown, New York, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Sylvia Gula, Jr. (Frustieri); his stepmother Doris Gula; his sister Lilly Gula; and his brother-in-law Thomas Mole.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Gula (Toombs) of Grand Gorge; his sons, David (Shelby) of Grand Gorge and Steven Gula (Destiny) of Grand Gorge; his grandchildren, Kai, Steven, Cora and Isabella; his siblings, John Gula III of Bloomville, Jody Gula (Elizabeth) of Fulton, Marsha Hayward (Stephen) of London and Silvia Gula of Syracuse; his stepsisters, Sheila Frisbee Taylor of Livonia and Lila Shaw of Cookeville, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Robin Mole of Tampa, FL, Melanie Cuddy (Jeff) of Tampa, FL and Jeff Toombs (Donna) of Davenport. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
