She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Henke and Eleonore Henke; and her sister Cornelia Henke. She is survived by: her sons, Hank (Lori), Glenn (Courtney) and Weston (Molly); her husband Hank Currey; her sister Evelyn Skidmore (Garry) of Grahamsville, NY; her grandchildren, Dean, Jack, Isla and Maxine; and her pet Bella. She is also survived by several other family members including sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or charity of one's choice in Shirley's memory.
