She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Brooks and Adeline Perry Brooks of Ellenville, NY.; her sister Alice Dixon; her daughter Kathleen Stangel; her sister-in-law Rita Cerato; and her daughter-in-law Carol Stangel.
She is survived by: her husband Harold Paul Stangel; her brother Robert Perry; her children, Christina Gage, David, Peter and James Stangel; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Batchelor and Matthew Stangel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
