She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Crawford and Sylvia Crawford (Krom); her husband Harold D. Brown Jr.; and her niece Stacy Strath. She is survived by: her sisters, Joan Sheeley (Terry) and Lorraine Strath (Stanley); her stepdaughters, Denise Brown (Michael Lowitz), Kathleen McCarthy and Janine Brown; her grandchildren, Heather Constant Cardone (Steve), Jason Constant, Ed McCarthy (Dana), Chris McCarthy (Jennifer), Katlyn and Tyler Cassidy; her nephews, Keith Bittner, Mark Bittner and Eric Strath; and her niece Alicia Golliver. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
