She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Bourgoine and Anna Bourgoine (Lizotte); her husband Andrew Washy; her daughter-in-law Annette Washy; her siblings, Dale Bourgoine and Theresa Diana Badami; and her grandson Jonathan Washy.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Washy of Dayton, Christopher Washy (Veronica) of Gowanda, Victor Washy (Kathleen) of Pittsburgh, PA, Gregory Washy of East Randolph and Michael Washy (Michelene) of Perrysburg; and her siblings, Leonard Bourgoine Jr. (Margaret) of Dansville, P. James Bourgoine (Sandra) of Wayland, Linda Ritacco (Joseph) of California, Robert Bourgoine (Cindy) of Dansville, Richard Bourgoine of Conesus, Debora Mahany (Robert) of Dansville, Wayne Bourgoine of New York City, Dean Bourgoine (Jane) of Wayland and Brenda Bourgoine (Robert) of Utica. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mentley Funeral Home - Gowanda (105 E Main St, Gowanda, NY 14070). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's RC Church (26 Erie Ave, Gowanda, NY 14070).
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's RC Church, or Roswell Park.
