She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dean A. Smith and Irene Arnold Smith; her spouse Waldemar S. Hawaj, Sr.; her children, Wally Hawaj, Jr. (Jolene) of Salamanca and Nancy Easton (Kevin) of Elkin, NC; her grandchildren, Avery, Kristen, Troy, Lance and Viktoria; her great grandchildren, Brayson and Archie, Jr.; her brothers, Bill Smith (Pat) of Oakfield, Jerry Smith (Jackie) of Olean and Ralph Smith of Auburndale, FL; her friend Alan Gore; and her son James S. Hawaj. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
