It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene M. Gates of Gowanda, New York, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Sr. Gates and Nannette "Sue" Gates (Plummer). She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Kerr (Steven) of Eden, NY and Lana Kota of Hamburg, NY; her grandchildren, Sophie Kerr and Asher Richard Kota; and her siblings, Melvin Gates Jr. of Irving, NY, Bernard Gates of Gowanda, NY, Randall Gates of Gowanda, NY, Linda Mohawk of Gowanda, NY, Susan Schindler (Steven Corley) of Gowanda, NY and Janine Gates (Rich Stevens) of Gowanda, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
