He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dolores "Dolly" Gernatt and Dan Gernatt Jr.; his siblings, Dianna Saraf (Ric), Donald Gernatt (Deb) and D. R. Timothy Gernatt; his nieces, Kaitlyn Gernatt and Christina Saraf; and his nephew Derrick Gernatt.
