He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Wells and Margaret Wells (Peck); and his brother Clifford Wells. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Fields; his sons, David Wells (Rose) of Germany, Dennis Wells (Charlene) of Rockmart, GA, Sheriff Kevin Wells (Mary Curran) of Canton, Trooper Kurtis Wells (Marisa) of Gouverneur and Pastor Kory Wells (Kathleen) of Watertown; his siblings, Fern McKinney (Dale), Betty Warner (Ed) and Barry Wells; and his grandchildren, Gary, Jacob, Mandie, Todd, Whitnee, Sarah and Heather. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
