He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Hughes and Elinor Hughes (Tibbits); and his granddaughter Bryonna Given. He is survived by: his wife Laura Hughes; his daughters, Denise LeClair (Jimmie), Melissa Hughes (Delmer McCollum) and Erin Hughes (Mitch Hall); his sisters, Linda Storie and Lori Gates (Rich); his grandchildren, Jayden, Mason, Hazen (Joanie), Connor (Dekoda), Bryce, Lincoln, Andrew, Isabelle, Garret and Bryant; and his great grandchild Braeleigh.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gouverneur Community Center (4673 NY-58, Gouverneur, NY 13642). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
